    Radio Elvis

By Vincent Hanon 28 November 2015

RADIO Elvis kicked off their tour in Paris in 2013, since then the three-piece band (guitar, bass and drums) has been busy touring intensely and their debut album will be released in the European spring of 2016.
Full of space and dimension, their sound is also evocative and melancholic. They create a poetic universe, reminiscent of the influential and elegant songs of Dominique A, Alain Bashung and Elvis Costello. Radio Elvis owe their inspiration to the literature of Jack London and Saint-Exupéry, the European 80’s sounds of Orchestre Rouge as well as the Popol Vuh soundtracks in Werner Herzog’s dreamy films. Think big, think black and white, and check out ‘Goliath’, the addictive closing track on the new ‘So Frenchy So Chic’ compilation.
